Building Community Engagement – The Inaugural Garden Party

QUARTER 3, 2023
At Olympus Management we are often talking about community engagement and social sustainability. On Saturday 2nd September 2023, we were so thrilled to be able to demonstrate our commitment to our customers by arranging and hosting the inaugural Garden Party at one of our developments.
We engaged with local vendors and musicians who were delighted to come and take part in the day, and we arranged sandwiches, cakes and refreshments for all to enjoy as this community gathered in their beautiful grounds. All whilst being serenaded with wonderful music from Alex Hall and Eugeny Minevsax.
Seeing neighbours mingling, chatting and dancing well into the evening gave us such pleasure and we knew that we had achieved our goal of turning this “large and complex tower block” back into a community. Engaging with each other in a relaxed and friendly setting doesn’t just benefit our leaseholders, but us too – we loved hearing stories about the building from residents who have been there for 20 years or more. Details which don’t get passed on through the service charge accounts and risk assessments.

Just when we thought the day couldn’t be going any better, one of our amazing residents and professional singer, Lazslo Gallo joined the band for an impromptu collaboration! Scroll down to see them in action.
We are so grateful to B-hive Property Solutions for their generous sponsorship of the coffee cart giving away 100 free coffees, which were a very welcome addition to keep us all going as the sun dropped down behind the tower.

We were so thrilled with the turnout, including the families of the site staff and the Olympus team, and the B-Hive administration team who manage this block. We really do mean it when we say that we offer a personal approach to Property Management.
Following the incredible feedback we have received, we are already planning for a Christmas carols and mince pies gathering at this development over the festive period. And we can’t wait to introduce similar events to the rest of our developments.
